beginning on March 25, 2010 and ending on March 28, 2010. Moonsplash is
proud to welcome returning premier sponsors The Anguilla Tourist Board,
Lime, Caribbean Liquors and Tobaccos, National Bank of Anguilla, CuisinArt
Resort and Spa, and Professional Services Group. We welcome Cap Juluca,
Viceroy Anguilla and Sheriva as hotel sponsors.
Moonsplash 2010 mark the 20th staging of the festival, billed as “The Eastern
Caribbean’s Premier Reggae and World Music Festival.” Headlining artists for
2010 includes a bountiful selection of reggae talent, ranging from cutting edge
to founding legends. Specifically, Moonsplash 2010 will feature legends
Gregory Issacs, John Holt, Marcia Griffiths and Sugar Minott. Reggae crooner,
bass virtuoso and Moonsplash Allstar Benjy Myaz will also be featured with a
band that features Allstars Onaje Allan Gumbs, lead guitarist and Inner Circle
lead vocalist Junior Jazz and Corey Stoot.
The next generation of conscious reggae will be represented by Jah Cure.
Moonsplash 2010 continues the tradition of providing the Northeastern
Caribbean with its first look at some reggae’s rising conscious stars. Recent
years have featured Tarrus Riley and Duane Stephenson.
Gregory Issacs, best known for his international smash hit “Night Nurse” will
be making his first visit to Moonsplash. Marcia Griffiths and John Holt have
each previously graced the Moonsplash stage. Sugar Minott, who has more
than 40 years of international performing pedigree makes his first visit to
Anguilla.
