Cedar-Ville Sports Club is in the process of planning for its first ever Bike Show. “Full Throttle” Bike Show will be held on Sunday 2nd May 2010 on the grounds of LA Café Night Club at 1:00pm. The success of this event will be credited largely to sponsors, who we anticipate will lend their names and financial support to this event.

The proceeds from this event will go toward Workshop Initiative for Support in Education (WISE) Project. Based on the success of this year’s event we intend to make this event an annual one with proceeds going toward a local charitable organization. The show will feature local Bikes and also bikes out of St Maarten. It will also feature a few vehicles that no one has seen before.
There will be prizes for;
Cash prizes (BIKES only)
Best Bike overall US$500
Cleanliness US$150
Paint job US$400
Most Modified (best) US$300
The club is made up of individuals from different areas in Anguilla hence the decision for the name Cedar-Ville. Our priority will be our youth whom presently are at great risk in recent times, with social decay eating away at our society. We believe that the future of Anguilla is based on the development and advancement of our youth, hence our efforts to support their development. We know with positive energies and focused channeling of these energies our youth may be guided and can be transformed to what it used to be. We know that excitement thrills and thought no better way to arouse interest than in an initiative that will do just that; “Full Throttle” Bike Show.
We hope that this event can be a success with the help of corporate citizens and fellow Anguillans. We do have many more exciting events which we hope to take on and look for to the continued support of everyone. We recently held a draught tournament and bingo competition which sparked quite a bit of interest. With keen interest we look forward to promoting sports, the arts and any other activities that will spark interest in our young people and all residents alike. We look forward to the support of all interested persons. |
